Did you know? An average of 14,000 Americans encounter water damage in their home on any given day. If you become part of that statistic, don’t fret, SERVPRO is on your side.
We know that disasters call for a quick reaction, and that’s exactly what we provide! Let us walk you through the water damage cleanup process:
Emergency Contact. Our technicians are on hand 24⁄7 because we understand that all damage requires a quick response. When you make the call to your local SERVPRO team, we will ask you questions to get a better understanding of your situation. We then set up a time to come out and assess the damage in person.
Water Damage Inspection and Assessment. When our technicians arrive, they immediately get to work. If water is still flowing, leaking or dripping, they’ll first put an end to that. From there, they’ll walk through your property reviewing the damage and identifying hazards. Once finished, they’ll provide you with a personalized plan for what’s next.
Water Removal. All that water has got to go! Even a small amount of standing water in your house can have disastrous consequences. During this step, we’ll use powerful extraction tools and pumps to remove hundreds or thousands of gallons of water.
Damaged Material Removal. While we’d ideally love to restore all items after water damage, some materials are simply rendered unusable. Those items will be removed from the home quickly, which will provide more space and capacity to dry out the structure and items that can be restored.
Cleaning, Sanitizing and Deodorizing. When water gets in your home, it soaks into fabrics, sheetrock and many other items. That’s why we bring in advanced technology to help ensure that we are not only getting your home clean, but having it sanitized and deodorized as well.
Drying. Removing water from a home can be extremely difficult, because even a small amount of lingering water or moisture can be dangerous. That’s why we have high-speed air movers brought in to help reduce the risk of mold growth and protect the structure of your house.
Monitoring. Once we have set up our equipment to do the job of drying your home out, all that’s left to do is wait. We will constantly stay in contact with you to answer any questions or concerns you might have, as well as stop by daily to make adjustments to equipment if needed!
Repairs and Construction. Once your home is completely dried out, it is ready for the repair or reconstruction process. When you choose SERVPRO as your restoration provider, you can rest assured knowing that we can renovate both small and major issues. And we don’t stop until we know that you are satisfied with the entire project.
If water damage impacts your property, call SERVPRO for complete cleanup and restoration. We’ll make sure your property is back to normal and “Like It Never Even Happened.”
