The slow continuous leak lead to mold in the basement as well after sitting stagnant for a period of time in the basement. After cutting the walls and exposing the joist the crews treated them for any and all existing and possible mold in the basement. Drying the basement with a mixture of air-movers and dehumidifiers restored it to its original condition.
