While on storm, we came across this water damage in a basement. Our crews set up drying equipment and got the area ready for the reconstruction team to begin work. The insulation in the ceiling was soaked and had to be removed to allow drying and prevent microbial growth. The air movers and dehumidifiers are set up in a special way so that it creates a vortex that pushes the moisture into the air which allows the dehumidifiers to pull the moisture out of the air and dry the affected area. This home owner was able to finish a remodel once we were done drying.
